Nina’s Known Universe Debuts! July 7, 2008
Galaxies: Mistress Monologues, Rise to PowerWhere to begin? I would have finished setting up this Blog ages ago if only I could have made up my mind where to begin. Eventually Nina’s Known Universe will be a website located at www.ninasknownuniverse.com, but until then this Blog is the quickest, cheapest and simplest way to get the show on the road.
You all know Nina, those of you chosen for the first peek, but what about everyone else? All those readers whom I hope you will see fit to share this with. Obviously Nina and Niko are just pseudonyms, and we would both appreciate no one using our real names in any public context. xoxo - Also do not make guesses about other peoples identities or ask us to confirm your guesses. The citizens of Nina's Universe shall always have their right to privacy protected.
That said, what began as characters based on us, inadvertently, albeit for the good, we ended up basing ourselves on our characters. They were just so much more awesome than us, the Perfect Couple and Universal Role Models for Enjoying Your Existence...
A friend of mine once referred to me as the “Flirty Den Mother” of the forum we frequented and I think that it really sums me up best...if such a thing is even possible. ;) I flirt and I mother…it is pretty simple. : D
Meanwhile my counterpart, "Imperial Concubine", etc...ahem...is one of the all time best hosts ever. Seeing to everyones good time, and keeping an eye all on anyone liable to hurt themselves. I tend to focus on sending the invitations, playing the music, sitting or dancing in one place forcing guests to come to me...like I have some kind of royalty complex or something... :D while Niko is socializing with everyone else. A huge role reversal from 18 years ago, but we will share that stuff as we go along.
The past 2 years events, some tragic, some ironic and many turning points have set me on a path…a path which I have come to believe is to "cheer up the universe". And a big part of making people happy is helping them to figure out what it is that makes them happy and then encouraging them to go after it. Life truly is short. Don’t waste a minute. In a way, this Blog really will become Nina’s Known Universe and you are all invited to come play here.
Those that know us best will tell you that in no time at all Nina and Niko will be the two people you can tell anything to, and that will always remember your birthday. ;)
You can share with us anything that you feel worthy to mention, and we shall do the same. Not just about relationships either. We all have families full of personalities and adventure…we have work, play, health and misery to share as well as discussions on every subject in the known universe.
Please always note in your emails if you wish to remain anonymous {including your Imperial identity given to you by me when you "moved in"}. So that when I post your comments, requests, questions, etc I can make you invisible or just leave out any details you do not want me to address publicly for whatever reason. Perhaps you told someone your Imperial Identity that reads this and the issue involves them. The reason is irrelevant. Your privacy will always come first.
